Exiles Release Update

Okay, so I’ve never actually had to do this before. I hate that I have to now, but over the last couple of weeks, I’ve come to the realization that I have to postpone the release of Exiles. Now, before you panic, I’m only postponing it 30 days! The new release date is August 11th. You see, life is kind of kicking my butt lately. Not in overly bad ways. I just feel overwhelmed. I’ve been trying and trying to get Exiles done ASAP and constantly feeling like I’m running out of time. That is also making me hate the book and feel like I’m not doing my best and completely lose confidence in myself. So, after praying about it, I made the decision to postpone it a month and feel much better about it. Like I said, I hate to do it, but I feel this is the only way I can give Exiles the TLC and proper editing/time it needs and release a book to all of you faithful readers that I’m happy with. Now don’t worry if you already pre-ordered the Kindle version on Amazon. You’ll still get your book and don’t have to re-order or anything. It’ll just be delivered to you on the new publishing date. So go re-mark your calendars for August 11th!

  1. Awwwwww . . . oh well. It's only a few months. And now I have something to look forward to in August! (Prior to this post, there were NO new book releases for me to look forward to in August, which was sad.)

  4. I think what you're doing is brave and admirable! You're taking the time to give your book the love and attention it needs. Take all the time you need. I know the wait will be totally worth it! ^_^

  6. I'm sure we'd all rather have Exiles later and as good as you can get it than now and not exactly how you and God want it. :) Don't feel bad! We will wait! :D More anticipation, yeah? ;D Still very super lots tons excited, but don't rush greatness, okay? :)

God bless you and your editing!

  7. Totally okay with that! I would ALWAYS rather authors take a little more time with their work (even if they have to push back the release date) than have them rush things (it really shows up in the book, and its NOT pretty;). So take your time, and Don't stress! We are Not going to die, but we DO appreciate you taking the extra time you need to really polish this book!

  8. I'm sorry to hear that life's been difficult. But I appreciate that you're making sure you deliver the best book possible. While it'll be hard to wait another month, I'm still excited to read it!

  10. As hard as it must be for you to decide to do this, I'm so grateful that you are taking the time to make it the best it can be! I'd much rather wait a month for a better book. So thank you, Jaye!
