We've all been THAT writer.

The writer that said "someday" "somewhere" "somehow" I'll write an EPIC novel. Sometime it'll be genius. Someday I'll rule with words! Somehow I'll kill with feels!

Pro tip: If you want to do something. Do it.

No magic tricks. We're all (professional and amateurs alike) just winging it. The old adage says, "If you fail to try, you try to fail."

Sure study, learn and stuff but that doesn't mean you can't be writing while you're doing it.

Write a novel. Do it. No regrets. No looking back. When you're done look back at it. Then if you want to write a new one or rewrite that one. Go for it.

But never don't start.

Don't wait until the day when you have the perfect story idea, the perfect plot, the perfect understanding of writing.

The best writing teacher in the world is failure.

So if you ain't fail'n you ain't learn'n.

Ultimately only you can decide to start NOW and write and write and write and write until you've finished your book.

And that my friends is the best tip on writing anyone could give.

Don't wait. Write right now.
