    1. Well, my beta readers are a rather small group that have mostly been with me since the beginning. But there will be a chance to be a pre-reader close to publication. :)

  5. One of my most favorite things about this series is the book covers, they are all EPIC, and while the exiles cover is pretty sweet, resistance still has the best cover in my opinion. Just learned there's a book 5, awesome.

  7. I applaud you for writing so many books and still making each one as interesting as the last! I never thought I would stay engaged with a story line for such a long time! (I've read other series that just drop me after the third because the ending is way to predictable.) But I love your characters and each book is always exciting and different from the last! When you first started writing the Chronicles, did you know it was going to be this long or did it just come to you as you wrote?

    1. Thank you! I'm so happy you're enjoying it enough to stick with it! :) When the first ideas came to me, I thought it would be a trilogy. Then it expanded to a whopping seven books, before two ended up getting combined and settled at six books.

  10. I absolutely love your books Jaye, when I first started them I wasn't sure that I would like them, but then I read the whole series in 4 days:)
Seeing Jace struggle with his past is truly inspiring. Also do you have any idea what month bitter winter will be coming out?

  12. I just finished "Bitter Winter", SOOOO Good, although I cried more than I've EVER cried reading a book! I cannot wait for the next one, this one was excellent! I'm kinda sad this series will be coming to an end, after your last book. I'm starting "Lacy" right now to bide my time til the last of the Ilyon Chronicles is available! One of the best series I've ever read!!!

  13. I have read all of the Ilyon chronicles books that you have written so far. I loved how even in your world of fantasy, you were able to pack such and inspiring Christian message. I cannot wait till the book Dacian's Heir comes out. I literally can't read anything else. :)
